A Russian man, Vladimir Popov, was killed by a tiger shark while swimming in the Red Sea near the Elysees Dream Beach hotel in Hurghada, Egypt. Witnesses captured footage of the attack, which shows Popov being dragged under the water. His girlfriend reportedly escaped unharmed. Bystanders attempted to help Popov, but were unsuccessful.
