Danny Tanner, the protagonist of Full House and Fuller House, was born on December 11, 1957. Bob Saget played Danny after replacing the original actor, John Posey. Danny's wife, Pam, died in an accident caused by a drunk driver, and his obsessive cleaning is due to his coping mechanism.

He had several love interests, including Vicky Larson, Claire Mahan, and Cindy. Despite being a widower, he had three children before turning 30. His catchphrase was "Do you want a hug?" and he initially hated Kimmy Gibbler but eventually grew to love her like family.
