Nancy Pelosi, former House Speaker and Democratic congresswoman from California, threw the ceremonial first pitch at the Washington Nationals game on Tuesday. The lob throw fell short of the mound and forced Screech, the Nationals' bald eagle mascot, to make a quick catch. Pelosi was selected for the Nationals' "Night OUT" LGBTQ+ celebration.
